The Sand Springs Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2026 awards, to be presented at the Annual Awards Banquet and Auction on Thursday, February 19th, 2026. Please complete and submit this form between November 3rd through Friday, January 9th by 5PM. Self-nominations are allowed. Nominees will be notified. Further questions will be directed to nominator. Nominations are anonymous. 

Award Descriptions

Non-Profit of the Year

Honors a 501(c) organization that demonstrates outstanding leadership, service, and community impact within Sand Springs. This award recognizes a nonprofit whose programs, partnerships, and dedication to its mission have made a measurable difference in the lives of others and strengthened the fabric of our community.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be a recognized 501(c) organization serving the Sand Springs area.

• Must be a current Sand Springs Chamber member in good standing for at least one year.

• Must demonstrate effective leadership, sound governance, and responsible use of resources.

• Must show a measurable impact through community service, advocacy, or support of local initiatives.

Small Business of the Year

Recognizes a small business that exemplifies excellence through innovation, customer service, and community involvement. This award honors a company that demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit, creates local opportunity, and shows a vested interest in the growth and success of Sand Springs.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be a current Sand Springs Chamber member in good standing for at least one year.

• Must employ ten (10) or fewer individuals.

• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, integrity, and community engagement.

• Must contribute positively to the local economy and overall business climate of Sand Springs.

Business of the Year

Honors a large business that exemplifies excellence in leadership, employee engagement, community involvement, and business performance. This award recognizes a company that has made a significant and lasting impact on the Sand Springs economy through innovation, job stability, and a strong commitment to the community’s growth and success.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be a current Sand Springs Chamber member in good standing for at least one year.

• Must employ ten (10) or more individuals.

• Must demonstrate a strong record of leadership, ethical business practices, and community involvement.

• Must show measurable contributions to the local economy and quality of life in Sand Springs.

Young Professional of the Year

Recognizes an emerging leader who exemplifies excellence, professionalism, and community spirit in Sand Springs. This award honors a young professional who is making a meaningful impact through their career achievements, volunteer efforts, and leadership within the community. The recipient demonstrates a strong vision for the future and serves as a role model for peers and future generations.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be between the ages of 18 and 40 at the time of nomination.

• Must live or work in the Sand Springs area.

• Must be actively involved in both professional and civic activities.

• Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, and a commitment to community betterment.

Business Person of the Year

Honors an individual who exemplifies leadership, integrity, and a commitment to the Sand Springs business community. This award recognizes a business owner, entrepreneur, or professional who demonstrates vision, initiative, and community spirit—someone who actively contributes to local economic growth, supports others’ success, and serves as a role model in both business and civic life.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be a current Sand Springs Chamber member in good standing for at least one year.

• Must be a business owner, executive, or professional actively working within or serving the Sand Springs area.

• Must demonstrate excellence in leadership, innovation, and community involvement.

• Must be recognized for ethical conduct, professionalism, and positive representation of the Sand Springs business community.

Citizen of the Year

Honors an individual who has made an extraordinary and lasting impact on the Sand Springs community through leadership, character, and service. This award celebrates a person whose actions and integrity exemplify true community spirit and who demonstrates a deep commitment to making Sand Springs a better place to live, work, and thrive.

Nomination Criteria:

• Must be a current or former resident, employee, or business owner within the Sand Springs community.

• Must have made a significant and positive contribution to the community through volunteerism, leadership, or civic involvement.

• Must exhibit high moral character and a reputation for honesty, compassion, and ethical conduct.

• Must serve as a role model of civic responsibility and dedication to others.
