Meet the people who are dedicated to the development of a strong local and regional economy by driving economic development, advocacy, quality of life and the promotion of Sand Springs.
Brent Kellogg is the Senior Pastor of HillSpring Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He is married to his wife Jeri and they have 2 children, Landon and Kalei. He worked in the broadcasting industry for 10 years before entering full time ministry. He has been a part of the HillSpring Church staff since 2003. He and Jeri also own Sandite Tan & Tea in Sand Springs.
Kenny Tate is a realtor with Keller Williams, and has been in real estate production for over 20 years. Kenny is an active member of his community, both professionally and personally as he believes that we all have a stake in making things better. He has held numerous positions within the Real Estate community, at both the state and local levels.
Jene Harmon has been with Webco Industries for over 25 years, he currently serves as the Marketing Director. Jene is on the board of the directors of the Tulsa SPCA and the Oklahoma State Alumni Association Leadership Council. He is an avid OSU sports fan, beekeeper, dog owner and enthusiastic international traveler.
Clarence Jackson is currently serving as Director of Tulsa Tech’s Sand Springs Campus. A strong advocate of hands, social emotional learning and student empowerment; Clarence takes pride in ensuring each student enjoys a rigorous yet enjoyable learning experience, that prepares students to be successful not only in the workforce but also life!
Danielle Myers (Dani) is the president of Myers Marketing Management and the co-owner of We Are Sand Springs magazine and Boulder Coffee in downtown Sand Springs. Supporting other business owners and especially women-owned businesses is important to Danielle. Danielle sits on the advisory board for the Salvation Army.
Sherry Durkee is the Superintendent of Sand Springs Public Schools. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, the Oklahoma School Insurance Group and the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators. Sherry is married to Richard, together they raised their three children in this phenomenal community they call home.
Brandon Grell is the President and CEO at Green Country Federal Credit Union. Brandon is responsible for modernizing and implementing competitive products, practices and strategic initiatives at the institution. When not deep into commercial lending, farming, ranching or the occasional BBQ competition, you’ll find Brandon with his wife Sondra and their two children Kaysen and Kanon.
Steve Lane is the owner of Steve Lane State Farm Insurance Agency in downtown Sand Springs. Steve serves on the board of the Sand Springs Education Foundation, Sand Springs Economic Development Authority, and has served as the president of the Rotary Club of Sand Springs. When not working Steve enjoys fishing, traveling, and supporting his alma mater, Oklahoma State University.
Rusty Gunn is the Lead Pastor of Church That Matters. He is active in the business, education, and faith sectors of our community as an entrepreneur, a member of the Sand Springs Board of Education, and a leader in the Sand Springs Local Church Network. He and his wife, Megan, own an insurance agency with Shelter Insurance.
