Step into the holiday season with the Inaugural year of SANTA BUCKS! The Santa Bucks Program is an initiative designed to celebrate our community and encourage everyone to shop local this holiday season. From small businesses to cherished establishments, we invite you all to participate and experience the joy of giving back to the place we call home.

From November 4th to December 15th, immerse yourself in the festive spirit as Santa Bucks tickets are handed out throughout Sand Springs at participating businesses. Then, mark your calendars for December 16th at 12 PM, when the exhilarating TICKET DRAWING will take place, bringing excitement and holiday cheer to all!

Campaign Details

Registration: August 1 – September 15th

Registration: Register for the campaign at https://cca.sandspringschamber.org/EvtListing.aspx?dbid2=OKSAND&evtid=11215&class=E by September 15th. Payment in full must be received by September 15th for guaranteed inclusion in marketing.

Participating Businesses Get Tickets: Participating merchants/businesses will receive an initial supply of tickets dependent upon their sponsorship level. Additional tickets can be purchased for $20 (while supplies last).

Shoppers Get Tickets: Businesses issue a minimum of one ticket to each customer (distribution is at each business’ discretion). Maximum of 100 tickets per purchase. Persons must be 18 or older to participate and win.

And the Winner Is….: On December 15th, all unsold tickets must be reported to the Sand Springs Chamber office before 5PM. On December 16th, the winning number will be announced. Winner must be present to win. The winning ticket will have 5 minutes to claim and must present valid ticket.

For Sand Springs Shoppers:

Find a Participating Business and shop during the Santa Bucks promotion. Get your tickets for your purchases. There is no limit to the number of tickets you can get from shopping locally at a participating merchant, increasing your chances of winning prizes. On December 16th, the ticket number for the grand prize winner will be announced at a live event. You must be present to win, but you do need to be 18 or older.

How will this help my business?

Time, energy, and money will be spent on advertising this campaign, including print ads, posters, social media, and other venues. The power of collaborative advertising means that you get high-value marketing for the nominal cost of sponsorship. Customers trying to win money will frequent participating businesses — this increases traffic to your store which then gives you the opportunity to sell to them.

How will this help my community?

The Sand Springs business community will be highlighted, while featuring a variety of merchants, products and services. The increase in sales tax collections helps the City to be able to provide necessary services to the business and residential community.

Who can participate as merchants?

The Santa Bucks campaign is open to any business within the City of Sand Springs corporate limits. While the campaign will be primarily focused on retail and dining merchants, non-sales tax generating businesses are also encouraged to participate and may find creative ways to include their services and customers in promotions.

How do I distribute tickets?

Can I win from the tickets from my business?

You and your employees are NOT eligible to win on your own business’s tickets. However, you and your employees can win by shopping at other participating businesses.

How do I get more tickets to distribute?

Email events@sandspringschamber.org or call 918-245-3221 to request additional rolls of 2,000 tickets at $20 each (while supplies last).

What are the dates of the program?
